It's that time again  everyone to mark your calendars and prepare your family, friends, civic organizations, youth groups, and co-workers for our 5th Annual Cardboard City!  This year we are hoping for a rain free event!  Last year we had around 120 participants and raised about $16,000 dollars for Sybil Smith Family Village and Family Promise.  Unfortunately due to inclement weather we had to end the evening around 11:00 p.m. We all still had a wonderful time building our "houses", dancing, eating, and paying tribute to the homeless in our area. 

We invite you to please join us for this unique event that is meaningful and fun!  School, Church and Civic Groups can help raise awareness about homelessness and funds to benefit two worthwhile nonprofit organizations:

Family Promise of Coastal Alabama

and

Sybil H. Smith Family Village

When:  Friday October 29th, 2010

Where: Alabama School of Math & Science Field (Corner of Dauphin & Ann Street)

How:  1.  Bring your box and the "rent" you raised - $100.00 or more per box in sponsorships

             2.  2 persons or 1 parent w/small children can share a box

             3.  Spruce up your box and participate in the "Most Out of the Box" Decorating Contest

             4.  Enjoy beverages, a light meal, and a live DJ

             5.  Registration forms may be downloaded here (see forms below)

            6.  Become a Corporate Sponsor with a donation of $300 or more!                                                                                                                Corporate Sponsors will be recognized and listed on all printed materials.
