Dumas Wesley Community Center will hold it's 20th Annual Walk for Families Saturday, March 20th, 2010. Over 200 participants last year enjoyed the morning's activities, including a 5 mile and 2 mile Walk/Run, a Silent Auction, Health Fair, children's activities and a picnic celebration. Money raised will enable us to continue providing quality services to children, youth and families, including daycare, after school activities, senior citizens' SAIL program and transportation to medical appointments, summer camps for inner city children, the Sybil H. Smith Family Village transitional housing program for homeless women and children, neighborhood advocacy and many other services. We need your support this year and invite anyone who is interested in participating to please contact us. This event is great for Families, Youth Groups, and Civic Organizations to participate in.
