Senior Activities for Independent Living (S.A.I.L.) provides daily activities Monday through Friday for an average of 70 seniors ages 60 +daily. A hot, nutritious meal is served for a mere donation of $1.25 to 40 seniors at the center and in addition, meals are transported to 30 homebound seniors. Participants may join in a variety of activities, including games, sing-alongs, nutrition education, speakers, health checks as well as computer classes. Participants are provided with transportation to and from Dumas Wesley. The seniors enjoy various field trips to the Exploreum, Bellingrath Gardens and the Annual SAIL Picnic held at the Fairgrounds.
