On Saturday, May 18th Dumas Wesley Community Center held it’s 4th Annual Plane Pull. Twenty-one teams participated in this extreme and unique event held at Brookley Aeroplex. Teams pulled a Delta Airline aircraft weighing 130,000 pounds. They competed to see who could pull the plane over 12 feet in the fastest amount of time. The fundraiser raised both money and awareness for the Dumas Wesley Community Center.
Overall Grand Champion: Mary G. Montgomery Football Team with a time of 7.34
First Responders Division Winner: Mobile Fire-Rescue with a time of 7.39
