Summer Recreation
The Dumas Wesley Community Center’s Summer Recreation Program is operating under the guidance of the Mobile County Health Department; requirements may change in accordance with MCHD recommendations.
Criteria:
- Parent/guardian must reside or work in the 36607 or 36617 zip code. Limited space is available for residents living outside preferred zip code
- Must have proof of child’s age (birth certificate, blue card, etc.)
- Must have proof of residence or employment in the 36607 or 36617 zip codes (recent utility bill or current paycheck stub)
- Participants must be between the ages of 6-15
One Time Fee for the Entire 8 Week Program: Cash or Money Order Only *All children must be living in the same household to be eligible for the $25.00 discount for each additional child
- 1 Child $210 in full
- 2 Children $395 in full
- 3 Children $580 in full
- 4 Children $765.00 in full
- 5 Children $950.00 in full
Registration Dates: Registration is now closed
Program Dates: June 7 – July 29, 2022
Program Hours: M-F from 8:00-3:00 p.m. for registered participants
Weekly Activities: Activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) education activities, field trips, arts and crafts and recreation
Free Lunch: Daily lunches provided by Feed the Gulf Coast
Dates Closed: Summer programming will be closed on Monday, July 4th in observation of Independence Day. The Summer Recreation program will also be closed July 18-22 for the Camp Blue Lake trip in Andalusia, AL (camp information coming soon)
